Atradius Collections provides efficient, quick and flexible solutions to collect domestic and international trade debts. With a global network of collections specialists, lawyers and insolvency practitioners worldwide, Atradius Collections serves over 15,000 customers, supporting them to reduce client’s trade risks through our efficient Business to Business focused trade invoice collections services such as Standby Services, Invoice Verification and Factoring transactions. Atradius Collections is a business unit of Atradius Group, part of Grupo Catalana Occidente, one of the leading credit insurers in Spain and worldwide.

Job Description
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Collections team in the Downers Grove office, supporting the Mexico and LATAM portfolio. This role serves as a key link between customers, the Atradius Credit Insurance Claims team in Mexico, and internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of service and effective account support.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse workload that combines customer relationship support, stakeholder coordination, administrative activities, and issue resolution. The role requires a customer-focused professional who can build strong working relationships, communicate effectively across teams and cultures, and help deliver a seamless client experience.


In this position your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing a portfolio of clients in close collaboration with Business Development Managers and country manager, ensuring strong client engagement and growth
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive account plans, aligned with clients’ short and medium-term strategic objectives.
• Engaging regularly with key clients and partners, providing updates on performance, gathering feedback, and addressing service delivery and commercial requirements in a timely manner.
• Collaborating closely with account management team colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize service delivery, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Supporting Business Development Managers in identifying and pursuing new opportunities, including preparing and delivering client presentations and proposals.
• Driving adoption of digital tools and platforms (e.g., Credit IQ), as well as promoting new service offerings to clients.
• Handling both Insured and non-Insured clients, act as a backup for the Insured account manager USA.

What qualification should you have?
This role would be ideal for candidates looking to develop a career in business or international customer relationship management:

• Account Management experience in the Finance or Insurance industry
• Detail oriented with strong overall analysis and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• The ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks within assigned deadlines
• Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural & international environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software, and the ability to perform functions in company established software and applications
• Ability to work well with team members in an office hybrid working environment
• Occasional travel as required to visit Mexico 
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

• Annual Salary: $65,000 USD with 15% bonus potential.
