What we expect from you:

The Casual Cook role is a short-term position (approx. 8 weeks) suited to a person or couple who is a great team player, happy to cook up simple, homestyle meals - no formal qualifications required. An ideal opportunity to experience a taste of station life, whether you're a traveler or backpacker. Other light duties will be made available for couples.

• Responsible for overseeing the kitchen, planning and preparing meals for staff and visitors (approximately 10-12 people)
• Manage and prepare food supplies that will be delivered to the stock camps, using caravan type cooking facilities
• Provide general duties around the stock camp locations, including moving supplies/equipment, cleaning and gardening (light domestic work)
• Own caravan can be used however accommodation provided (single bed on the kitchen caravan)
• Start ASAP
