**Title:** Dialysis Technician
**Schedule:**
3-12 hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
3:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Occasional weekend and holiday rotations
**Assignment Details:**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CCHT certification preferred or must be obtained within 18 months of hire
- BLS certification required
- 6 months of related work experience preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate patient access before cannulation each treatment
- Set up and tear down dialysis machines in a safe and timely manner
- Document necessary data for each patient every treatment
- Monitor patients closely during treatment for adverse reactions and report to nursing staff accordingly
- Obtain lab specimens as ordered
- Attend daily huddles and monthly meetings as scheduled
- Perform other nursing duties as requested
