Santander UK is looking for a Finance Business Partner based out Milton Keynes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner in the Everyday Banking and Homes Finance Business Partner team. You’ll partner with a number of business areas, and work with Finance teams to understand and forecast P&L impacts, while supporting other Organisation & income initiatives.
Working as part of the wider Finance Business Partner Team supporting Everyday Banking and Homes, you’ll be the primary point of contact for month end, budgeting & forecasting; and support in developing the business strategy, along with delivering professional management and advisory services to your business areas, enabling sustainable profitability and growth.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing key stakeholders and their understanding of the banks income and cost position, to build effective stakeholder relationships.
Reporting monthly P&L covering actual v budget variances including individual business performance, projects and understanding key drivers of activity
Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered
Building partnerships and maintaining relationships with all senior managers and their teams
Liaising between business, FBP and Planning to ensure all budget and multi-year planning requirements are captured and challenges are relayed
Providing full transparency of all challenges, risks and opportunities, embedded challenges and support the business in creating detailed plans to address them.

Professional Experience:
Experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with Executives and Senior Managers, within and outside Finance through personal credibility and delivery of results (Required)
Experience of developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships at various levels (Required)
Excellent Oracle and Excel Skills (Preferred)
Education:
Significant experience as a Finance Business Partner or CIMA / ACCA qualifications or equivalent (Required)
Skills:
Proven ability to problem solve, interpret and evaluate information to make authoritative recommendations (Required)
Ability to work independently while managing multiple and conflicting priorities (Required)

Salary Range:
£53,500.00 - £80,250.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
