Are you the person who sees what is coming before everyone else does?
Nutrinza is looking for an Inventory Planning Lead to take ownership of inventory control, stock planning and product flow across three sites and our satellite store distribution network.
This is more than a stock control role. It is a hands-on leadership opportunity where your accuracy, planning and ability to stay ahead of demand will directly influence how well the business operates.
You will be trusted to bring structure, visibility and confidence to inventory management, while leading two team members and working closely with operations, customer service, logistics and finance.
About Nutrinza
Nutrinza supplies customised feed solutions to the New Zealand dairy industry and is part of the wider Intelact group.
We are a practical, fast-moving business where operational delivery matters. People who take ownership, solve problems and get things moving are valued here.
About the role
This is a key operational role with real ownership.
You will be responsible for keeping inventory accurate, product moving and stock information reliable across a busy multi-site environment. Just as importantly, you will help the business look ahead by using inventory data to improve forecasting, demand visibility and stock planning.
You will be close to the day-to-day operation, but also involved in improving how we plan, communicate and make decisions around stock availability and movement.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the detail right and likes being the person others can rely on to keep the moving parts under control.

What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from people with experience in inventory, stock control, warehousing, dispatch, logistics, production planning or similar operational roles.
You’ll likely be practical, organised and confident working with detail. You’ll be comfortable in a hands-on environment, but also able to step back, spot patterns in the data and use that information to support better decisions.
You do not need to have done this exact role before. What matters is that you understand stock, movement, accuracy and planning, and you are ready to take ownership of a broader inventory function.
You will also bring a positive, steady leadership style. This role leads two team members day to day, so clear communication, follow-through and the ability to create a well-organised team environment will be important.
Experience in manufacturing, bulk products, agribusiness, animal feed or a similar environment would be useful, but it is not essential.
