Introduction

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an innovative, strategic, and self-motivated individual to work from our Johannesburg Office. The
candidate must have a solid work ethic, be able to work under deadline, engage and collaborate with team members /
management and be able to follow directions and respect department / corporate policies.
The candidate will serve as the support to the Product Owner, assisting with all tasks including solutioning, testing,
documentation, analysis and stakeholder engagement

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the senior Product Owner in developing components of the product roadmap.
• Engage with in-house business leaders and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into a technical
agenda for development & deployment to production.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
• Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
• Assess, and prioritise the product backlog.
2. Collaborate with in-house and outsourced development teams to deliver tech for operational use.
• Assist in research of new feature requirements and tech specifications.
• Collaborating with technical team to map out UX and UI for deliverables.
• Participate in design sessions with the technical team to choose the best technical solution for a business problem out of
several proposed solutions.
• Define acceptance criteria for deliverables and participate in UAT testing.
3. Project management
• Management of and liaison with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of functionality to meet
specification and quality standards.
• Regular reporting & feedback on progress, risks, and bottlenecks to management.

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree
COMPETENCIES:
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong competency in business process design and analysis
• Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions for improvement
ADVANTAGEOUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
• Proven (technology) project management experience
• Scrum/Agile training (and practical experience)
• Familiarity with modern cloud technology, and low code platforms
• Working knowledge of IT systems fundamentals e.g., databases, integration patterns
