Pay    \:    HK$77,959 to HK$155,089 [HGPS Point 30 to 44B] per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will be deployed to work in Communicable Disease Branch, Centre for Health Protection (CHP) with main duties as follows:
1.    Support the outbreak team to conduct prompt and effective investigation for prevention and control of communicable diseases.
2.    Conduct contact tracing and infectious disease surveillance.  
3.    Compile case investigation reports and situation reports. 
4.    Provide health advice for outbreak in healthcare and community settings and handle related enquiries.
5.    Implement research projects of public health significance.

Enter Requirements:
Registered medical practitioner under the Medical Registration Ordinance.

Preferable Attributes/Exposure
1.    Staff members in the rank are expected to meet the 4 core competencies set for the Resident post. They are:

-    Organization effectiveness.
2.    At least 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
3.    Good interpersonal and communication skills.
4.    Demonstrate enthusiasm in developing a career in public health related field.
