We’re currently recruiting for an Employment Adviser to join our amazing team. You'll provide advice, guidance and support to help participants overcome barriers to employment, achieve realistic job goals and move into sustainable work. Managing a caseload of participants, you will act as their coach, mentor and trusted adviser, building strong and positive relationships that motivate, challenge and encourage them throughout their employment journey.
Our ideal candidate will be a confident, target-driven and motivated professional with excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on employer engagement. You'll be proactive in building relationships with employers, identifying vacancies and creating opportunities for participants through networking, business development activity and cold calling to local businesses. Comfortable engaging employers both face-to-face and over the phone, you'll actively promote our services, generate job opportunities and develop partnerships that support positive outcomes for participants. With a high level of initiative and resilience, you will be able to identify solutions to challenges, work effectively under pressure and manage your workload with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Experience in sales, recruitment, business development or employer engagement would be advantageous; however, we are not simply looking for someone who ticks every box. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and driven by our overarching aim of empowering lives and improving communities.

Location: This is an office-based role, working in Plymouth
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm
