- Experience is preferred but not required
- Be of legal working age
- Must be able to lift & carry 35 lbs. Unassisted
- Have the ability to move around 80-90% per shift
- Must be able to perform work for 8-10 hours per shift
- Operate & handle small tools
A Salad Cook will:
- Prepares or directs preparation of salads served using established production procedures and systems.
- Ensure that the salad station is fully stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift.
- Occasionally assist with the preparation and plating of desserts as needed.
- Follows proper food preparation and handling techniques.
- Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.
- Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
- Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.
- Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
