Community First supports people, places and communities across Wiltshire and Swindon. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees. Trustees play a vital role in providing leadership, governance and strategic direction, helping to ensure Community First continues to achieve its charitable objectives and deliver positive outcomes for communities.
All about the role:
As a Trustee, you will help shape the future of the organisation, support innovation and growth and oversee the effective stewardship of resources while acting in the best interests of the charity.
We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in business, the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector and fundraising.
Trustees are expected to attend at least four of six Board meetings each year, together with the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Additional time is required for meeting preparation.

You will join a dedicated Board helping to strengthen community resilience, support vulnerable people and shape the future of a respected local charity.
